Here is some very basic advice on your diet that will help you to stay fit and healthy. Its easy to understand, logical and totally free.
Firstly we need to understand what a diet exactly is. Well “ a diet “ such as; supplementary drinks, cabbage soup only, zero carbs, the Aitkins etc etc, are a false economy. If your prepared to eat cabbage soup for the rest of your life then go for it but for most people it is likely to end in a trip to Macdonalds. Loosing weight for a reason such as a holiday or wedding is different because you don’t intend to keep it up. “A diet “ of this nature is simply not sustainable for most people and for those who do keep up weird and wonderful eating habits there can be unhealthy side effects, (your liver does not like processing animal protein).
“Your diet” is what you actually eat normally and regularly. The golden rule here is if you eat crap then you are going to end up looking and feeling like a pile of it, so….. DON’T. It’s a bit like giving up smoking, if the initial intent is not there then nothing is really gong to work. You have to prepared to make at least a few changes within yourself to loose weight and get a bit healthier. Even if your budget is low there is loads of advice on the internet about how you can make this happen, all you need is the information on how. Try searching “ healthy eating on a budget “ online and see what you can come up with relevant to your situation and make notes. These notes will then become your foundation for your Healthy Diet Bible. Here are a few more healthy tips to compliment your new healthy attitude to eating.
- Whatever you regularly drink, stop by at least 50% to start with and replace with water. Water is THE MOST ESSENTIAL AND NECESSARY THING YOUR BODY NEEDS so try and remember this when you are pouring diet coke down your neck thinking your doing something healthy, your not.
- Walk wherever and whenever you can, cycle if possible and if you really want to get serious start swimming. NOTHING will happen without exercise.
- Watch your alcohol intake as this can spoil all your hard work
- SING!!! DANCE!!!! LAUGH!!!! SMILE!!!!! Wherever and whenever you can. Releasing endorphins is a wonderful way of treating your body and it will be very grateful to you for it.
- Share your ideas and thoughts with others. Group support is a powerful aid, even through a blog or over the phone, a sharing of intent and focus will only help your resolve and probably furnish you with even more imaginative and useful ideas.
- And lastly tell everyone how you are achieving your new found health and happiness. The joy of life is in giving and life will be grateful to you for this.
Of course you could always take these words expand the theories a bit do some basic research and sell it on the internet as a “lifestyle” program for only $39.99 etc etc, believe me there are plenty of joke diet plans on the web, at least yours will have realistic objectives and integrity.
