Eat These Super Power Foods to Fight Cancer
How do you know which foods are the right ones to eat to help fight cancer, since fruits and vegetables are usually good for us? You are about to find out in this article.
There are so many foods out in the market that offer different health benefits, and most of them are what we eat regularly. Recently, a certain foods are known for their particular aid in fighting cancer. How do we know which are the right ones to eat since fruits and vegetables are usually good for us?
A recent study shows that we should consume more of these foods below to help ward off cancer. This scary disease has everybody gasp with fear, and there are so many deadly types of cancer, from breast cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, anal cancer, prostate cancer to ovary cancer. Broccoli

This cruciferous vegetable contains indoles and isothiocyanates, which may break down breast cancer cells, and lower the rates of cancer. According to researchers at John Hopkins University School of Medicine, in Baltimore, broccoli produces isothiocyanate, called sulforaphane, which can muffle cancer causing agents.
Health benefits include: prevent colon cancer, control high blood pressure, reducing cataracts, heart disease, and several other cancers.

Carrots

Carrots contain higher beta-carotene than other foods found in the orange fruits and veggies group. Half a cup of cooked carrots contains four times the vitamin A in the form of beta carotene.
The beta carotene reduces the risk of stomach cancer, oral cavity, and prevents heart disease. A recent research from Harvard University recommends us to each about five carrots per week to lower the risk of stroke.

Garlic

Garlic contains one percent of the important of penicillin, which can ward off the bacteria such as E.coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, listeria, and cryptococcal meningitis.
Eating one clove of garlic a day also helps the body fight off the cold, lower cholesterol, fights heart disease, reduces the chance of stroke up by 30 to 40 percent and prevents blood clots.
The most effective way to use garlic is to crush, cut or chop up the garlic for it to release the compound called allicin, which helps prevent cancerous cells in the stomach wall.

Wild Salmon

Wild salmon is high in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and rich in vitamin D. The health benefits include keeping the heart strong, arteries clean, improve mental health, and strengthen immune system.
Since wild salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, it may help in preventing a certain type of cancer.

I always thought that cancer can be beaten and even prevented. I love red cabbage especially the radicchio that you picture. Too bad here they are so expensive. I have to wait till they are on sale to enjoy them. I just peel and eat, one leaf at a time. They go well with fresh tomatoes, cucumber and avocado. Yummy and good for our health!
