Abdominal fat or visceral fat surrounding internal organs in the abdomen and has been attributed as the source of many chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
The researchers also tried to learn why some people have more visceral fat and fiber found as one of the key handle.

This study uses data collected from 1,100 male and female Hispanics and African Americans over the past five years, then they are measured by various factors such as diet and exercise levels and smoking.
The result, study participants who ate more fiber to have a healthier body and a smaller stomach.
Several dietary factors also seem to have an effect on where fat accumulates. As participants are fond of eating sweet foods, for example, tend to be associated with more abdominal fat.
Although the research is to bring a little hope, but there are still some experts suggest further research needs to be done, because it has not been clear whether the consumption of fiber will help reduce abdominal fat accumulation, not only to prevent it.
“Foods rich in fiber does help people feel full longer and offer fewer calories, but whether this fiber diet actually help people lose visceral fat in the body is an important topic for future research”.
