Nutrients-protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins and minerals.

Playing a sport is very demanding, and to achieve maximum potential, the body must be as well prepared. Nothing is more important for the well being of the body than an adequate nutrition.
Choosing the right foods helps you maintain your desired weight and to be always in shape. An essential part of physical training is represented by the diet.
There is no miracle product or a nutritional supplement that you provide all the nutrients you need. Some foods provide protein mainly, others contain vitamins and minerals. The key to a balanced diet is as varied choice of food.

Nutrients-protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins and minerals – and water work together for optimal nutrition. As each player has a role in the team fulfills a certain function of each nutrient in the body. Therefore, the absence of an important element damages the body, which needs all the principles to work correctly. Therefore, an athlete’s diet (and all in general) must provide all the nutrients every day.
Intense physical activity increases nutritional needs. Therefore, athletes need more energy, water and even salt (sodium chloride). A young man practicing a sport performance may need 5,000 calories a day, unlike other, for the recommended caloric intake is 3,000 calories.

Water lost through sweat during training, is not easily replaceable. Insufficient consumption of water during intense exercise can lead to dehydration. Drinking water should never be limited during training. In addition, the market appeared different special sports drinks that contain electrolytes, carbohydrates and other nutrients. These are indicated especially if physical activity lasts more than an hour.
