Health Beyond Measure

Taking the correct measures to prevent Diabetes.

There are numerous situations or circumstances that we may go through on this journey called life.

Have you ever wondered why some make it and others don’t? Some are healed and survive and then there are those that die from the same disease.

I’ve asked myself that often. As I pondered on this question I began to realize that everybody will not be healthy.

My belief of this is because some will take the necessary steps to prevent illness and others will not.
I do believe according to your faith you can receive healing. You have to go beyond just speaking with words, but it has to be in the heart and mind as well.
Some things can be prevented by just making the right decision, just to name a few: good eating habits (food that is good for your body); getting enough sleep, and regular exercise.

There are some sickness and disease that is just genetic, but I believe according to what you believe you can receive healing. It’s not God’s will for us to be sick. I believe some sickness we bring on ourselves, which are in our control drugs, alcohol, sodas, sodium, etc. jus t to name a few. One disease that comes to mind is diabetes.
If caught early diabetes can be controlled and prevented.

First and foremost you have to change your mindset, meaning it is okay to visit the doctor. God gave them the knowledge to help and just because you take medicine it does not mean you don’t have faith. Follow instructions. Faith has instructions and that is to believe what you cannot yet see. Changing your lifestyle and eating habits will do wonders for your mind, body, and soul.

Focus on foods that are high in fiber, most dairy products, lean meat, fish and poultry. Please keep processed foods which have refined flour and sugar to a minimum.

You don’t have to except your fate as others may have; the fight is up to you. I believe we can prevent some disease if we take better care of ourselves. I know people that had this disease and it was genetic, but they made the decision to live and not die. They changed their lifestyle and eating habits. I know bad habits are hard to break, but how bad do you want life? With discipline and determination you can win the battle.
