How to maintain a healthy diet.
Keeping a healthy diet is very important. It help you to live a longer life. It also prevent you from getting certain diseases such as; high blood pressure, diabetes, sugar, and heart disease. Having a healthy diet will also keep your blood cholesterol low and decrease your chances of developing heart disease. Healthy diet is fine for the entire family, including children from ages 2-4 onward. However children under 4 years of age should not follow the healthy diet they need more fat to provide enough calories for growth and development.
We are currently experiencing obesity mainly in children ages 10 – 14 years old so they are cutting down the fast food in their lunch room at school and serving mostly fruits and vegetable hoping that it will help. To maintain a healthy diet these are some of the foods that you should try to avoid eating; oily food, fry food, fast food, fried chicken and food that makes you calories too high the less calories your body take the longer you will live.
A well balance diet help with your wellbeing , certain types of food can make your child hyperactive like potato chips, and cheese chips. Here are some of food that I think would help you maintain a proper diet; cabbage, carrots, apple, banana and milk just to name a few. You can get food that gives you energy like rice. To keep a healthy diet your body need vitamins also. The recommendation for saturated fat are based on the percentage of calories you eat.
