How to Take Care of Our Physical Health

Physical health is vitally important like the other areas of our life are important. It is so vital that when a person is not healthy physically, it affects the mind, the emotion, the social life, the spirituality, and finances. Understanding how our body works will help us to adjusts to keep our body in good health.

1. Balancing our Diet. We learned in our grade school that we need to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. But how many of us are eating fruits and vegetables daily? I believe that most of us are not. Our nutritionist tells us to consume food that are 80% alkaline and 20% acidic. Alkaline food comes from fruits, vegetables, crops, and grains. Acidic food comes from meat, processed foods, sweets, etc. Having a balanced consumption of food will allow our body to be supplied with the right amount of nutrients for optimum efficiency.

2. Healthy Lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is free from vices and negative practices that affects our health. It may include smoking, alcohol consumption, lack of sleep, sedentary lifestyle, night life, etc. These are just some of the common lifestyle.

3. Enough and Regular Exercise. Exercise can be any form of physical activity that allow us to exert physical effort. It may include playing sports, walking, jogging, biking, swimming, and other forms of exercise. According to exercise practicioners, a regular exercise is at least 3 times a week. The time is at least 30 minutes every exercise session. It has been noted that exercises to increase our cardiovascular endurance is the top priority in exercising.

4. Positive Mental Attitude. We don’at need to consult a psychologist about how we think affect us, including our physical health. A lot of times, we hear about people who was strong in their belief that they will be healthy. Having a positive mental attitude in life goes a long way not only in being healthy but in other areas of life.

Problem: The huge problem is that most of us doesn’t have a balance diet, a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise, and always having a positive mental attitude. We accept this to be true in most people if we are honest about ourselves.

Solution: There is always a solution to every problem. Recognizing there is a problem is the first step. Finding the solution comes next. Doing it is the best. If you are not having a balanced diet everyday, you can solve this by taking food supplements that provides the nutrition you need.
