Improve Your Vision with Healthy Diet
A diet for improvement of eyesight.
A diet good for your health includes sufficient amount of fruits and vegetables, proteins, and dairy products. For rich amount of proteins try to add more fish into your diet, it has the essential Omega-3 fatty acids that are important for the brain and mental focus. Dairy products are fine but stay away from pasteurized and homogenized milk because they have a tendency to block arteries and limit the eye circulation. The best vegetables are spinach, carrots, endive, bean sprouts, celery, and cucumber.

Too much processed and deep fried foods can origin serious problems on eyesight and health. Eat foods that have high value of vitamins A, B, C, D, and E, as they are all just the nutrients the body need. Some other foods that are high in nutrients are sunflower seeds, pecans, raisins, soybeans, liver, and apricots.
The body comes complete with its own pH balance structure to keep an equivalent amount of acid and alkaline. Excessive amount of acid causes uric crystals to grow around the joints leading to arthritis. The acid also damages the muscles close to the eyes. The body needs fruits, vegetables, grains, and animal products to preserve the balance. Fruits and vegetables decrease the amount of acid in the body; grains and animal products increase the acid. The target is to find the ideal balance between the two.

For Better eyesight eat these food sources of the antioxidants (carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc):
• Zinc: Meat, fish, poultry, whole grains, and dairy products
• Beta-carotene: Carrots, kale, and spinach
• Vitamin E: Whole grains, vegetable oil, eggs, and nuts
• Vitamin C: Citrus fruits and juices, broccoli, green peppers, and potatoes

Interesting article, I disagree with you about milk, you should always drink pasturised milk, unpasturised milk can be very dangerous. In fact in most places it is not lawful to sell raw milk.

Great article. I personally, have been suffering from blurry vision lately. I’ve always worn glasses but hadn’t needed to add contact to them for 6 years. Recently, my vision got worse and I’m thinking it’s because of diet. Will a better diet improve my vision? Or just keep it from getting worse?

Thank you for a good and helpful article. Do you think that
“Eye” Vitamins are helpful. In Vitamin A I am told that too much beta carotene can mess up your eyes in the long run???
Most eye vitamins would minimize that ingredient I understand.
