Like they feel that they are eating some grass like food.  We all passed through that certain stage when we don’t really like vegetables in our plate. We feel like it’s not delicious. It doesn’t have that rich flavor like most dairy or meat products have. Or like that luscious taste we get from eating junk foods, like chips or chocolates. We missed the part of that taste that we should be eating since its necessary for our body’s nourishment. But did you know that eating vegetables can actually lengthen your life span? It’s true! A vegetable has many kinds of nutrients that are very important for our growth and health. Health can be sometimes ignored when we are young but eventually our parents will forcing the idea of vegetables to us like it is one of the second most important part of growing up.

So what do get from eating vegetables anyway? I know for sure most of you would want to know what it gives to your body. And how come people nowadays are going organic and promoting vegetarian lifestyle.  If you have a poor diet and you want to gain more weight, eating vegetables is the way to go. Vegetables have those we call anti-oxidant feature that helps in boosting our taste buds and cravings. These are in the form of vitamin C, which is good in fighting the occurrence if illnesses and keeping the bacteria from our system, although, there are good bacterias that are helpful in taking care of the processes of our body.

Fiber is another one of those great things that is helpful for our body’s processes and metabolism. Metabolism is the process of our digestive system to break down food and turn it into use through our cell productions and blood flows. This prevents sickness like cancer, and other terminal disease from attacking our digestive system. There are many vegetables that have all these nutrients, take for example tomatoes. Tomatoes is one of the top source of Vitamin C, and of course little of that fiber. Fiber can be found mostly in greens, so if you are fond of eating variety. You may want to try eating some fresh garden salads, and topped it with certain beans or any other vegetables to go with it. Mixed it up and add some dressing and whoala, you have your own fiber-enriched vegetables.

If you are not used to eating vegetables, try it at first to minimum until you get the hang of it. There are certain factors to consider in crashing with vegetables, and if you are not really used to it, you may want to try it with other meat products like cuts of chicken to go with the flavor. That way it won’t be too different from your choice of vegetable.

So what are those vegetables that are rich in fiber aside from greens? I made some list of vegetables that you might wanna try and I think it would be great especially if you are also into making fitness and shape of the body a high priority, with corresponding nutrients found in them. Remember, that food rich in fiber is not only important in maintaining a healthy diet but it would also help in shredding that extra pounds or weight from other food sources like carbohydrates and fatty foods.  Only fiber enriched food can help in making it seem like we are full after eating while we eat less amount of it. It helps in slowing down the absorption of sugar into our blood circulation thus helping the body keep away from unnecessary disease that may occur like diabetes, high blood pressure, and hypertension.
