Let’s Talk Vitamin A
A small but informative guide of reasons why Vitamin A; is very important.
I tried to make it as simple as possible, so that everyone understands the purpose of the vitamin, how it works in our bodies, as well as some very common ways of consuming the vitamin naturally.
Vitamin A is very important to our bodies, as a whole, but is very important for our eyes, teeth and yes our bones. This vitamin is an antioxidant, which help the body get rid of toxins, and helps us to ward of infectious diseases, our organs. This vitamin is also very instrumental in the development of a fetus, by fortifying the development of skin, bones and eyes, all because this vitamin helps build cells and helps repair cell damage. Which I believe is the reason it is helpful in preventing certain forms of cancer.
We deplete our bodies of the important vitamin due to stress and illnesses, which are sometimes out of our control, but we can control what we put into our bodies. Alcohol, deplete the body of vitamin A, as well as other very important vitamins and nutrients. Since this vitamin functions to help with skin maintenance, do not add this supplement to your diet if you are currently using any sort of acne medication, there seems to create an adverse condition.
Eating healthy is everyone aim, and by obtaining this vitamin from dandelions, carrots and broccoli, only to mention a few, will help your body, utilize protein, to keep your muscles strong, thus helping the body burn calories. By increasing your intake of fruit and vegetable can greatly increase the body absorption of many of the different types or forms of Vitamin A, also know as beta-carotenes. Your body will let you know when you are lacking this vitamin; one sign is a loss of night vision, while too much vitamin A may make your skin appear yellow/orange.

Liver – from animals
Yellow fruits and vegetable
Papaya, sweet potatoes, peaches
Green Vegetables- Swiss Chard and Spinach
Some herbs to cook with such as sage, peppermint
The better form of Vitamin A can be found in liver.
If you suffer from liver disease you must be careful with the intake of this vitamin.
