Chlorophyll has the ability to improve our health and is easy to take daily.
Chlorophyll is the intense green pigment that gives leaves and plants their color. Chlorophyll is a good source of vitamins A, C, D, E, and Magnesium. It is very rich in antioxidants which help protect our cells from free radical damage. Structurally, it is very similar to the heme portion of hemoglobin, thus it helps support delivery of oxygen to the cells and tissues of the body, and the removal of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.
Studies have shown that chlorophyll may support and protect the liver function by cleansing the build up toxins, cholesterol, triglycerides, with in the liver. Chlorophyll may also assist in the chelation and removal of heavy metal from the body, an may also stimulate bowel function. Studies have also shown that chlorophyll helps reduce body odors which is a nice side effect to have.
You can get chlorophyll in liquid form, or through green foods, or in super green foods such as spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass. You cannot overdose on chlorophyll, but more is not always better. I myself have found by taking 2 teaspoons of liqiud chlorophyll daily, really helps my energy levels, almost like drinking coffee but in a very smooth feeling kinda way. I have also notice that my bowel movements are more regular and greenish at times. I like to see greenish bowel movements as this shows it is getting all the way through my intestines, this helps clean them.
You cannot go wrong taking chlorophyll as a supplement, it only does good and no harm what so ever.
