  1. EAT FRUITS:

    Eating fruits immediately after meals will lead to increased gas formation in the stomach. So, it is advised to give a break of one hour after meals.

  2. DRINK TEA:

    Tea contains acidic substances in higher quantity and this will interfere with the protein digestion.

  3. SMOKING:

    The ill-affects of nicotine multiply 10 times if one smokes immediately after meals.

  4. LOOSEN YOUR BELT:

    This in turn results in excessive motility and blocking of the intestines and results in malabsorption.

  5. TAKE BATH:

    If you take bath soon after your meals, most of the blood flow is channeled to arms and legs. This reduces the blood flow to the stomach and intestines. As a result it weakens the digestive process.

  6. TAKE A WALK:

    Many of us believe that taking a stroll after meals aids in digestion and help us live longer. But it is a myth. Fact is this causes malabsorption of the food we eat.

  7. SLEEP:

    Sleeping also lead to indigestion and infection of the intestines.
