Some are delighted, obviously loyal consumers, and others are not attracted at all by the idea and reject it, even if they don’t have reasons to do it.Those in the second category do not know the benefits of soy for our body. And today I want to introduce them.

Soy helps you to keep a fit silhouette

Soy is a vegetable widespread worldwide. In Asia, it is a star of food from hundreds of years. We can consider it now as being a veteran, because it was noticed from a long time and soy benefits are appreciated at their real value there. Soy can be found in various stores, especially in hypermarkets. From the classic tofu( soy cheese), soy milk, soy beans, miso (Japanese soup containing soy paste), soy nuts, soy flour, up to another specialty called tempeh (fermented product). Soy is recognized as an excellent source of protein, has fiber, vitamins, minerals. It contains iron, manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin B2 and K.

Soy is considered one of the vegetables responsible for our health. Endocrinology specialists have concluded that certain components of soy prevent the production of fats.So you can maintain your silhouette by the simple fact that your body produces less fat. One portion of a preparation based on soybean has about 40 mg of antioxidants. This is very good! Warning though: soy sauce doesn’t contain antioxidants.

Strong heart and bones for women

As the years pass on us women, the more we approach to menopause. Some time ago, at one of the meetings organized by North American Menopause Society, there have been outlined the results of an interesting research. Women who are facing menopause and the changes caused by menopause should pay more attention to soy products compared with other women. The frequently consumption of soy  (once a day or several times a week for 6 months) will determine a growth of their bone mass, supporting them in the prevention of osteoporosis.

It has been proved that soy lowers cholesterol levels (and not just at women).

Another study, of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, analyzed the benefits of soy. It was noted that elements of soy nuts (fried whole and without salt) reduce blood pressure and protects the heart from cardiac problems. Soybean protein lead to the increase of nitric oxide in blood, which regulates blood circulation.

Substitute for meat

Soy protein has the same quality as meat or products derived from animals. The difference is that soy does not increase cholesterol, has less calories than meat and is a great source of omega 3 fatty acids and minerals.

Soy is recommended for any health prolem. It prevents  colon cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer. It is recommended for those who have diabetes type II , because the fibers and protein from soya prevent the increase of sugar in the blood.

When you go shopping, put in your cart soy products, also.If you find soy flour, you can use it instead of white flour. You can consume the soy milk as it is, or you can use it along with your cereals. You can use soy in food, soupes, everything you want. Maybe you experience a new recipe and tell us about it.
