Starting a Healthy Life Style Part Two

Coffee is terrible for you body whether you coffee-holics want to believe it or not, so here are some great healthy alternatives to drinking coffee.

1)      Green Tea

Un-caffeinated green Tea is amazing for your body, the benefits are endless and I’ll let you look it up for yourself. Green tea with some honey is my favourite morning pick me up, the antioxidants give your body energy and the advantages make your body alive and you won’t even crave coffee anymore!

2)      Dark Chocolate

If you’re going to consume caffeine anyway you might as well do one better for yourself. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants very beneficial to your body and the taste is, as we know, far more satisfying and you only need a small square if you’re feeling the caffeine urge.

3)      Fruit

A piece of fruit gives you a boost of natural sugar, I emphasize the natural part. This will boost your spirits and give you energy just like a coffee will with a kick of vitamins and healthy energy instead of harmful caffeine.

4)      Water

Water won’t give you the energetic kick you might need in the morning or throughout the day, but I’m here to tell you that the benefits of drinking water will bypass the need for caffeine. If you drink enough water during the day your body will feel more energized generally and be healthier, and of course health is the necessity in which our body functions every single day.

5)      Exercise

It’s not a food or a beverage, but getting a little exercise in the morning will boost your endorphins. These hormones of course give you energy and wake you up, you’ll be ready to go for hours after a short work out, while coffee will give you an unhealthy boost and then you’ll crash and need another.

  1. Nice try. Drink my snake oil, live to 3000. Nevermind that humans have consumed coffee for 1,000 years of epidemiological evidence of no real health effects — positive or negative.

Some people live for the mental placebo effect.
