Shopping can be fun with these 10 healthy snacks that keep you thin.
If you are planning a shopping trip at the mall this holiday, remember these snacks at the food court. You can eat or drink one of the snacks below to keep your energy level up, and stay thin at the same time.
- TCBY Frozen Yogurt: 96% fat free, 170 calories, and 7 grams of fat. You can order with almond topping to boost up your protein level.
- Popcorn Indiana: Authentic all natural kettle-corn, 2 cups of this popcorn has 120 calories, and a better choice for you than potato chips or other munchies.
- Starbucks: A tall nonfat iced orange mocha, no whipped cream has 190 calories, and 2 grams of fat. The low fat protein in the milk is a good energy source.
- Taco Bell: Fresco Style Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco has 170 calories, and 4 grams of fat.
- Auntie Anne’s: Whole wheat pretzel has 350 calories, and 1.5 grams of fat. This pretzel also gives you 7 grams of fiber and a steady release of glucose, which known as blood sugar.
- Caesar Salad: Have a serving of this salad with creamy dress for 126 calories, 5.54 grams of protein, and load of vitamins. Add walnut or almond for an extra dose of protein.
- Black Bean Chili: A bowl of chili has 268 calories, and about 14.4 grams of protein.
- McDonald’s: Fruit and Yogurt Parfait has 160 calories, 3 gram of fat, and 4 grams of protein.
- Wendy’s: Frosty Dairy Dessert has 330 calories, 8 grams of fat, and 8 grams of protein.
- Pizza Hut: Five pieces of mild Buffalo wings have 200 calories, 12 grams of fat, and 23 grams of protein.
These foods are readily available at the food court or restaurants in the mall. Don’t get stressed out with your holiday shopping. Keep in shape with these ideal snacks until meal time. Healthy choices are beneficial in the long run.
