Cantaloupes are very rich in nutrients and are known to fight disease, cancer.
- Did you know that Cantalopes are in the same family as squash and cucumbers.
- Cantaloupe is a melon and squash is a vegetable.
- Cantaloupes have a sweet fragrance when they are ripe.
- A perfect fruit and sweet to taste, they contain vitamin A and C.
- They also contain a good source of potassium and many other minerals.
- Cantaloupes peak growing season is June through August.
- They are grown mostly in Texas, California, and Arizona.
- Also the cantaloupe is rich in beta-carotene.
- By adding cantaloupe to your diet is a healthful decision.
- You will be adding nutrients, minerals, potassium, beta-carotene, vitamin A and C.
