Testosterone: Foods to Increase Testosterone, Libido and Sex Drive

Foods that helps in increasing the production of testosterone.

Testosterone is a male hormone that acts as a very important role in a man’s physical fitness and sexuality. Testosterone production is mostly dependent on Vitamin B and Zinc and though it is not found directly in the food we consume, certain foods can lead our body to produce more of it.

Testosterone is very important and essential for both men and women. On the other hand, men produce around 40 to 50 times more testosterone than women. Usually, in men testosterone levels are about 40% higher in the morning than at nighttime. This may well elucidate why men are more interested and attracted for sex in the morning.

Foods that plays a major part in increasing the production of testosterone:

Almonds

Almonds are a major source of essential fatty acids. Almonds and other nuts are very important for man’s healthy production of hormones.

Asparagus

Asparagus a rich source of Vitamin E, which is considered to fire up the production of testosterone and perhaps important for a healthy sex life. Asparagus is good for both men and women libido levels.

Avocado

Avocado contains vitamin B6, which is helpful in increasing male hormone production. Potassium is also found in avocado, which helps in regulating the female thyroid gland, and therefore helps to increase the libido levels in females.

Bananas

Bananas are rich in Potassium and B vitamins like riboflavin, which are necessary for the production testosterone sex hormone. It also contains the enzyme bromelain, which is believed to increase male libido levels.

Eggs

Eggs are another rich source of vitamin B5 and B6 that helps in reducing the stress levels. High levels of stress are a well-known cause of low sex drive. Vitamin B5 and B6 are very important for a healthy libido level.

Raw Oysters

Oysters are a very rich source of Zinc that increases the production of testosterone. Zinc is very important for many processes affecting the body; it helps in the formation of new body cells, improve the immune system, helps in proper brain function and plays an active part in the health of reproductive system of both male and female.

Oysters are also a good source of Magnesium, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Phosphorus, Manganese, Iron, Copper and Selenium.

  31. Thanks vg2009…There is 2 supplements of Nutrilite one is Daily and 2nd is Salmon omega-3 in which u can get all these vitamins and minerals..

    I HAVE NOT HAD IN SEX SINCE OCTOBER 1999 THAN HAD A LEG amputated due to infection was in hospital 38 months
    and on very strong antibioctes than they had to amputate to
    save my life now stricty in wheel chair any suggestions.

  53. These may not work for 100% of the guys, I dont know but I got to tell you that they work for me.
