The Benefits of Banana for Health
Banana has much benefits for our health. It is a nutritious fruit.
Banana is a fruit that can be found in South East Asia, Africa (Madagascar), South America and Central America. Banana is a nutritious fruit. It contains calcium, potassium, fat, carbohydrate, protein, fiber, iron, phosphor, folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, and others. That’s why banana is good for health.

The benefits of banana for health:
- Assists the growth of the fetus. Folic acid on banana is good for pregnant woman.
- Reduces the risk of high blood pressure and stroke
Banana has low salt content and high potassium content so it is good for hypertension patient. A banana contains about 500 mg of potassium. This amount can reduce blood pressure and keep the balance of water of body.
According to Journal of the American College of Cardiology, consumption of 1600 mg of potassium every day can reduce risk of stroke more than 20%. Whereas suggestion of consumption of potassium is 3500 mg/day.
The experts from Warwick University and Naples University suggest consuming 3 bananas per day for preventing stroke. Because 3 bananas per day will give enough potassium to reduce probability brain clots about 21%.

- can reduce menstrual pain. Vitamin B6 on banana helps in regulating blood glucose levels. It helps in balancing mood and hence reduces menstrual pain.

- can stimulate production of hemoglobin. Banana is relatively high in iron so it’s good for anemia patient.
