The Dangers of Obesity
It is deadly.
So, “I’m a bit overweight”, you might think. “what’s the problem?” you might say. Obesity isn’t just a visual thing. althoug many people don’t like to have that extra pound or so, you should try not to be overweight because of your health. Your health is very conditioned by your alimentation. If you eat too much salty things your blood pressure soars up but if you don’t, it plummets. Of course, you may have high blood pressure because you’re stressed, but that’s not what I’m focusing.
- Vegetables: These are very important in your alimentation because they give you the nutrients you want to have to be healthy. They don’t taste that bad either.
- Fruit: This is a great source of vitamins and nutrients too and they also prevent you from getting sick (getting a cold if we’re talking about of oranges).
- Meat: Who doesn’t love a well cooked beef? (unless you’re a veggie, of course) Well, red meat has too much calories and proteins so you should try to ear more of white meat (bird’s essencially).
- Fish: Iron and calcium are very important too, so you should eat fish at least 5 times a week.
- Milk: Milk has calcium but you shouldn’t eat too much cheese. just because it’s made of milk, it doesn’t mean it isn’t fat!
- Cereals: Now, I’m not talking about Cornflakes! I’m talking about bread, fresh and pure bread. If you’re going to eat it, you should know what it is.
- Fast food: A big don’t. Once a month is fine. Twice is ok. Once a week is a little too much and more that that, is pushing the limit.

All in all, balance is what you need. If you eat a burger, it doesn’t mean you’re going to die. That’d mean all the world would be dead by now, including me. The food pyramid is the law.
