What You Should Know About Multivitamins/multiminerals?
Multivitamins or multiminerals supplements are usually taken along with one’s meal to promote a better health. These supplements help ensure one is getting an adequate amount of vitamins, minerals and nutrients for the body to function properly.
Calcium helps in stressful periods by improving one’s mood swing, easing anxiety and reducing muscle spasms. These symptoms are also associated with pre-menstrual syndrome.
People with iron deficiency will experience symptoms and signs of anemia. These include dizziness, shortness of breath, weakness, headaches, grumpiness, difficulty in concentrating and paleness. Therefore, make sure your multiminerals/multivitamins contain iron in helping the formation of red blood cells.
In order to help enhance nutrient absorption, you should take water-based supplements together with the oil-based ones before a meal.
Selenium and vitamin C are powerful antioxidants that support a healthy defense system.
To enhance immunity and healthy growth, zinc is an important mineral.
Prior to a stressful task, taking 3000 mg of vitamin C according to a study, shows cortisol and blood pressure levels to return to normal more rapidly.
Magnesium and vitamin D are two important minerals that help maintain good nerve and muscle function.
You should keep your multivitamin/multimineral bottles tightly as this will prevent oxidation. Remember to store them away from direct heat and sunlight.
B vitamins are very helpful for those who feel run-down. These vitamins especially help perk up one’s energy level.
Deficiency of magnesium can trigger fatigue and headache. When you are constantly living under pressure, your body is more likely to have depletion of magnesium, which will later aggravate fatigue and headache.
To strengthen and encourage bone health, you should take vitamin D and calcium along with other bone-fortifying minerals including copper, magnesium, zinc and manganese.
If you would like to have great vision as well as beautiful eyes, you should take lutein, vitamins A, C and E.
Elderly persons and those who are constantly restricting their diets are at risk of zinc deficiency. Under zinc deficiency, one will suffer diarrhea, skin lesion, impotence, hair loss, eye lesion, and loss of appetite.
Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A, B, C and K, silica, zinc, copper and selenium are important nutrients for glowing and radiant skin.

Final remark:
Prior to taking any supplement, you should seek advice from your doctor. Take note that supplements are not meant to replace your daily meals and make sure you take them along with a nutritious diet with the approval of your doctor.

Like to see the results of overdosing with this article.
Too much Vit C = urinary stones. Ouch! Too much Vit A = hair loss
Keep up the good work.
