Celery is also very rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin K, potassium, folate, dietary fibre, molybdenum, manganese and Vitamin B6. This herb is good for the heart as Vitamin C in it helps to fight free radicals and promotes cardiovascular health. Vitamin C reduces the chances of heart disease, stroke and cancer. Celery juice is very beneficial to lower the cholesterol levels. Celery juice is not only good for cardiovascular health but also very beneficial in treating rheumatism, allergies and stomach disorders. It is also good for treating frigidity.
It’s a very low calorie food and rich in fiber that’s why it is a very good aid to weight loss. Calcium, potassium and magnesium are good for strengthening the body. Iron and magnesium are helpful in relieving the affects of anaemia. Diuretic properties of celery (because of the presence of potassium and sodium) help to regulate fluid balance in the body by stimulating urine production.
