Why Vitamins?
Vitamins are important, but without the proper knowledge, they can be dangerous. Always speak with your health care provider before introducing any new vitamins to your daily diet.
Some people take them, and other think they are nonsense; but I am beginning to see a trend, more doctors are suggesting vitamins. Some doctor suggestion Vitamin B-12, either in pill form, or for the elder they give them a needle. Vitamin B12 supports the immune system and keeps you strong, to fight off virus and bacterial infections.
Vitamin D is needed so that the body can absorb calcium, without Vitamin D, you can take thousands of milligrams of Calcium and it will do very little for your bones. Vitamin D can be purchase at the local pharmacy, if you are lacking this Vitamin there is a prescription for Vitamin D, but the best way to get it is naturally. If you spend just fifteen minutes in the direct sunlight, your body will produce the proper amount your body needs.
The unfortunate part is that most dermatologist will tell you about protecting your skin and using sunscreen; however the reason many people are not absorbing the proper amount, is because the sunscreen interferes with the body’s ability to absorb, since it is being “BLOCK”.
Since there are many forms of Vitamin B, ranging from B1 to B12, taking the vitamin in “Complete B form” can be a good choice since it provides the minimum amount your body needs, for the normal healthy adult. Vitamin B is needed for the human body cells, as well as for our central nervous systems.
Research Vitamin before taking them, and always speak with your doctor or health care provider, since he or she should know what your body is lacking. Many of us don’t know it, but there are blood tests that will and can tell us when we are deficient in certain vital vitamin.
It’s your health you should keep yourself informed!!!!!
