OH&S for a Printer
This is a brief list of standard OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety) which can be (and should be) applied throughout the world.
- Must be tested and tagged before use
- Never use double adapters
- Report damaged power cords
- Ensure cables do not travel over walk-ways
- Ensure that it is placed on the floor or another stable surface
- Allow easy access to controls
- Place in an enclosed area to prevent excess noise
- Consider the heat emissions of the printer and other equipment
- To prevent employees from remaining stationary for extended periods of time, the printer should require the employee to stop sitting and walk to retrieve their work. .
