Dementia is a disease that does not only torment the sufferer, but cause problems of stress for caregivers. It is important that those who are involved with dementia-related problems become fully acquainted with the fact that any kind of strange or aggressive behavior on the part of a demented person must be accepted by the caregiver, as symptoms of a mental illness over which the person is not capable of exercising any control.
