A new study by the American Cancer Society adds to the growing evidence that physical activity reduces the risk of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Its authors say the practice of moderate exercise, like walking an hour a day, was associated with a 14 percent lower risk and high physical activity, with 25 percent less likely to develop breast cancer compared a low activity or inactivity.
