A Caged Beast Inside
I don’t know what came over me to write such things. This is not a poem.

Well lately I have been having a rough time and my grandmother has been fighting cancer for the last six months.
Key Points –
*used ‘the’ affair, not ‘this’ affair because the affair of life ends when you are buried within the earth (under the sole of your shoe)
*play on sole/soul.
*the heaven you enter has white and pale clouds. Just like the smoke you emit.

* “Leastwise meet the eyes,
Of the phantom you exhale” because chain smokers never look at the smoke they exhale.
This is a poem that decribes the pain of losing someone dear. Even in the loss there is still a peace in knowing that the person who is deceased still lives in our memories if we will but continue to remember that person and not focus upon our loss.
I for once don’t know what to say here. I’m at a loss for words. This is for my mother who is very ill. I guess this is just my way of letting her know that I have always noticed, never forgotten and have, do and will always remember. I love you mama…

How Can We Help Others to Cope.
Emmersed with the gauntlet of radio, television & theatrics. One needs to saturate their thoughts in the heavenlies. Thus in order to withstand the truest test in time.
Just because they are gone doesn’t mean that I have to forget them. I’m so thankful that I was able to share people moments with some special people.
Losing a loved one around the holidays brings a special kind of grief. Although applicable to everyone, this was written as a response to the death of a dear 20 year old woman during the holiday season. Perhaps it will help bring some comfort and perspective to those who believe!
