<p>When you go grocery shopping&nbsp;read the information on all packaged foods. Check serving sizes and total number of servings in the package. Now locate the number of calories per serving at the top of the label. Try to choose foods with a lower calorie count with the most nutrition. Better still shop from the outer isle of the store. You will find the fresh produce, fruits and salad makings there. Prepared foods will be much higher in calories and less nutritious.</p>
<p>Keep this in mind when counting calories.</p>
<p>1 gram carbohydrate= 4 calories</p>
<p>1 gram protein= 4 calories</p>
<p>1 gram fat= 9 calories</p>
<p>Take in less calories than you put out and when you reach a deficit of 3500 calories you will lose one pound. You can reach the deficit by eating smaller servings and less fat. You will lose more weight faster by exercising at least three times a week.</p>

<p>The following exercises are best done while lying down, so you can practice them before dropping off to sleep.&nbsp; Step by step, here&rsquo;s what&rsquo;s involved.</p>
<ol>
<li>Begin with the arm and forearm to locate and feel tension.</li>
<li> Close your hand, making a fist.</li>
<li> Tightly clench both fists.&nbsp; Notice the pull or tension on your wrists, around your elbows, and even up in the shoulders.&nbsp; This is extreme muscular tension.</li>
<li> Open your fists.&nbsp; Immediately release contraction from the muscles of the hands, forearms, upper arms, and shoulders.&nbsp; You will feel the tension leave.</li>
<li> Close your eyes and think &ldquo;relax&rdquo; &ndash; breathe slowly and deeply.</li>
<li> Now do it all over again, then, do it once more.&nbsp; In other words, perform the above exercises three times.</li>
<li> Next, bend toes and feet downward, then push or stretch downward with the heels.&nbsp; Notice the pull or tension in your ankles, feet, hips, and thighs, but most particularly in the calves of your legs.&nbsp; This is muscular tension.</li>
<li> Now let go, and the muscular tension disappears.</li>
<li> Do the foot exercise three times.</li>
<li> The final relaxing exercise is for the muscles of the neck, throat and face.&nbsp; Close your eyes more tightly than usual.&nbsp; Shut them as tight as you can.&nbsp; At the same time press your lips together, and bite hard with your jaws&rsquo; strength.&nbsp; This contracts the muscles of your eyes, forehead, mouth, jaws and neck.&nbsp; You can easily feel the tension about the head&mdash;and even hear it ringing in your ears.</li>
<li> Now let go of the tension from your jaws and face.</li>
<li> Perform the face and jaw exercises three times.&nbsp; You may need to practice this last exercise before you can master it.&nbsp; Among all body muscles, those in the face are among the most difficult to relax.&nbsp; Check on yourself when you are unable to sleep, and you will often find your eyebrows knit together, your forehead wrinkled up, and muscles around the eyes and jaws tense.</li>
</ol>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Running from commitment to commitment throughout the day can leave little time for sitting down and enjoying a proper meal. It is an understandable temptation to throw down a few dollars for a quick fix at a fast food chain. Especially considering today&#8217;s economic climate, this is happening even more often for many people.  &nbsp; Slowly the waistline expands, and that run you promised seems to slip by every day without notice.  &nbsp; There are several easy ways to stay healthy without spending too much time, and all it takes is a little planning.  &nbsp;</p>
<ol>
<li> <strong>Plan for tomorrow.</strong> Before you put your head to the pillow, plan out your meals for the following day. If you work a 9-5, pack your lunch and plan exactly what you are going to have for breakfast. Especially at the end of the day when you appetite is satisfied, you will be more likely to make healthy decisions. Pack a salad or instant oatmeal with some dried fruit in your briefcase for the next day&#8217;s lunch. Plan to grab a coffee and granola bar for breakfast at the local cafe. Don&#8217;t plan on snacking, and don&#8217;t bring along change that will turn the vending machine into a temptation.  &nbsp; </li>
<li><strong>Let go of the morning carb overdose</strong>. It is tempting in the weary eyed hours of morning to grab a bagel and cream cheese or cinnamon bun from Starbucks. Each of these is likely over 500 unneeded calories and all carbohydrates. Instead try grabbing an apple, granola bar, oatmeal. All of these do have carbs enough to energize you, but aren&#8217;t overloading your body with glucose that you won&#8217;t be able to burn off with your limited morning activity.  &nbsp;</li>
<li> <strong>Start with a salad</strong>. Your office&#8217;s cafeteria has a plethora of bad-for-you options, and those hunger pangs at lunchtime make them all so darn tempting. If you are feeling these temptations, tell yourself you will start by eating a full salad, and if you are still hungry you can go back for something else you&#8217;d like. Nine times out of ten, if you give the salad fifteen to twenty minutes to digest after you&#8217;ve finished it, you will be much more satisfied than you anticipated, and the temptation to give in to the unhealthy foods will be gone! &nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;<strong>Take the stairs.</strong> No matter what floor you are on, if it is a single digit number and there is air conditioning in the building: take the stairs. This needs no explanation, your body will thank you.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
<li>&nbsp;<strong>Lots of water.</strong> If you use our tips and still find yourself hungry throughout the day, try keeping a full glass of water by you at all times. Drink it obsessively. You will be cleaning out your system and keeping your body healthy, as well as creating the illusion of being full to satisfy those temptations. It should be noted that obscene amounts of water in a short amount of time can be unhealthy, so be careful not to overdo it. <p>When your shoulder hurts because you have moved your shoulder the same way again and again, you only want it to stop. Unfortunatley, it feel like every way you move it causes more pain. Then if you work in a desk job, or your job is the reason your shoulder hurts, you&#8217;re in pain constantly; day in and day out. Finding relief for the pain is your only thought, and you don&#8217;t care how you go about getting it.</p>
<p>The best thing to do with any pain, tear, cut, or lesion is use the R.I.C.E method. That is Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. First of all try to stop using it. Do anything you can top stop using it, and get it elevated above your heart. With two shoulders hurting, the only way to elevate it is sit up or stand up. The most important part of the RICE method in the beginning is the Rest part. You need to stop doing whatever it is that causes the pain. Even if that means taking a few days off. Once you&#8217;ve done this, you should feel a little bit of relief.</p>
<p>Now the Ice. But some sore spot need more than just Ice, so try alternating ice and heat. If you there is more pain with one then the other, try to leave it on there longer; it;s very possible that that is the healing process you;re feeling. After 10 minutes, if the pain doesn&#8217;t start to leave it&#8217;s not worth it and stop using that temperature at all. Keep the heat and ice on it for 20 minutes. Allowing the sore area to rest for 10 minutes in between each temperature.</p>
<p>Now you need to stop the pain from coming back, or figure out a way to relieve it. Most shoulder pain is there because it is pitching something or it has been rubbed raw by overuse. A few good stretches will cure both problems and prevent this from happening later. Begin by stretching the top of your shoulder first by trying to grasp your shoulder with the same hand and with the other hand, push your elbow up as far as you can.</p>
<p>Now you want to stretch the other side of the shoulder machine, the shoulder blade. Grasp your arm as you cross it across your chest. Pull it as you feel the back muscles pull slightly. Remember, the shoulder blade is the part of the shoulder joint that holds the arm in its socket. Any of these stretches that are too much for your soreness, do not do them or just do them lightly.</p>
<p>Now you need to strengthen you shoulder muscles. Once you&#8217;ve stretched them out so that nothing is being pinched or torn, you can strengthen them so that the tissues and connective muscles aren&#8217;t so exposed. Begin by placing two books flat in the palm of one hand. Put the books at shoulder level, almost touching your shoulder, and raise each book into the air until your arm is completely straight. Hold this position. Do this with each side three times. After that, get two soup cans and hold one in each hand. Put your arms straight out like you&#8217;re going to fly away. Hold them at that level for a count of 10, then raise them up, and lower them back again. Do this 4 times.</p>
<p>These stretches and excercises should be done on a daily basis. the pain will slowly start to subside, but only do this as much as you can. You don&#8217;t want to over do it, and you don&#8217;t want to injure yourself more because you did too much. Listen to your body, it will tell you what you need to do and not do.</p>

The reason for doing this is that it does make the final bottled apple cider vinegar more appealing to a considerably larger range of the population (especially the kids).</p>

<li>Your immune system is extremely lower as you have at least two or three times experiencing fever, flu, influenza, running nose and other sickness in a week. (5 marks) </li>

<p>Next, add up all the marks you get from this self-diagnose test and see the results below.</p>
<ol>
<li>If your accumulation mark is below 20, it tells you that your body has fewer toxins that are not hazardous to your health</li>
<li>If your accumulation mark is 20 and above, it tells you that your body has a substantial amount of toxins accumulated</li>
<li>If your accumulation mark is 40 and above, it tells you that your body has a large amount of toxins accumulated. It isa warning that you should not ignore as your body&#8217;s condition just lies close to the border line of the dangerous level.</li>
<li>If your accumulation mark is 60 and above, it tells you that your body has become a huge dumpsite of toxins which put you in a critical health state. If left ignored, the accumulated toxins may lead to certain chronic diseases or adverse symptoms. If you are a patient, you should aware that this condition may have triggered and worsened your existing health problem. </li>
</ol>
<p>Those who have the conditions as listed in (2) and (3) are advised to arrange time to let your body undergo the detoxification process, while those with condition listed in (4) must go for a thorough detoxification immediately. Though those with condition listed in (1) have the least impact of the toxin accumulation, they are advised to go for detoxification to promote an optimum health.</p>
<h3>Lung Detoxification</h3>

<p>Lungs are the organ that is more likely to become a dump site for dirt, germs, tiny particles, suspended substances in the air. In a nutshell, the lungs are the place where toxin accumulated more easily than other parts of our body. This is because the daily breathing will take in about 8,000 liters of air into the lungs. When we breathe, the dirt, suspended tiny particles, bacteria, virus or any harmful foreign substances might have entered into our lungs. Not only they will harm our lungs, but also they will get our blood vessels clogged easily and subsequently causing the poor blood circulation.</p>

This detoxification method is best to do in the early morning before 10.00 a.m. or after the rain stops. Choose either period that suits you at your ease. Now, you have to do a deep breathing. While doing a deep breathing, raise up your hands in a V shape gradually upwards to the sky as shown in the above picture. Next, you have to make yourself coughing suddenly while falling off your hands rapidly downwards to the ground. This step is essential to let a parcel of dirty air being forced out from your nasal passage and phlegm being coughed out. Repeat the steps several times a day. Do this every day to ensure your lungs are being washed off from any impurities. This is the only method that you can help your lungs undergoing detoxification.</p>

<p>Apart from this, you are advised to include black fungus in your daily diet. <p>If you feel like you want to urinate, go for it, but do not keep your urine staying too long in your bladder. For your information, our urine is always congested with many harmful toxins, if you do not urinate promptly when you feel you should be, and you try to stand on your urine, then the urine will be reabsorbed into the excretory system. This can be hazardous to our health. It is simple to detoxify toxins in your kidneys. You just replenish the excretory system by drinking appropriate amount of fresh alkaline water. By doing so, you are helping the kidneys to dilute the concentration of toxins to its minimal ratio. This is important to help your kidneys to stimulate the metabolism while eliminating more toxins out of your body. One important thing to take note is that any carbonated or sweetened drinks cannot substitute the alkaline water to furnish your kidneys with appropriate amount of water. The more you replenish your kidneys with any carbonated or sweetened drinks, the more sugar and calorie are absorbed into the kidneys which will later damage or wear out your kidneys. They will do the job as well even though its effectiveness is not as good as the organic one. This is because the non-organic cucumbers or cherries might have the residuals of pesticide and chemical fertilizers.</p>

When you get up from the bed in the early morning, remember to replenish your body with at least 200ml warm alkaline water. After replenishing your body with some water, try to move around in your park, backyard or any places that are free from heavily polluted air. By doing this, you are helping your intestine to get washing off the toxins. This will aid in a smooth bowel action. Besides doing this, you should shift from artificial foods to non-artificial foods. Fresh organic fruits such as pineapple, kiwi, papaya, and guava are natural foods that help cleansing your intestine. The lack of peristalsis (moving action) of intestine is the main cause why you are facing the constipation, and thus you should include fiber-rich vegetables and fruits in your daily diet. Foods that are rich in fibers are unpolished brown rice, kiwi, oatmeal, pumpkin, and banana, to be named a few examples for your reference. Feeding your intestine with these vegetables and fruits are vital to promote intestinal peristalsis to get you away from the annoyance of constipation.</p>
