Doctors Get Rich Off Hysterectomies
Doctors are getting rich off unnecessary hysterectomies. Insurance companies reimburse doctors for these surgeries with the big bucks. Alternate treatments are often ignored which might be better for the patient, but bring little money to the doctor’s coffer. A study by UCLA confirmed that 70% of all hysterectomies were inappropiate.
