The Doldrums of Depression: Cause and Effect
Depression can be triggered by circumstances beyond control. It can happen to anybody, male or female, and if allowed to continue, may result in tragedy such as mass murder or suicide. We hear of many incidents when people have suddenly attacked a school or any other public or private entity that ended with the attacker taking his own life. In the majority of cases, incidents such as this happen because of severe depression on the part of the attacker who thinks or imagines that society has not been kind to him in many respects.
