Active ingredient found in Candid B cream is clotrimazole 1% and beclomethasone dipropionate 0.025%. It is an over the counter skin care medication normally used for fungal infection. In a survey 800 people suffering from candidiasis (a kind of fungal infection) was treated with Candid B cream. The result should reduction in the severity of the symptoms in almost 80 percent of the patients. So for treating fungal infection (candidiasis), the combination of clotrimazole 1% and beclomethasone dipropionate 0.025% was found highly effective.
