Children and migraine.

This,  is not just an adult condition, migraine affects children too.  Painkillers, are more likely to help if given at the start of the attack,  act promptly, but never give aspirin to anyone under the age of sixteen.  Allow children to rest in a dark room and sleep, if possible.

Dehydration, can be a trigger to migraine,  your child needs one to  two litres of water daily.  Going without food for long periods, may bring on an attack.  Eating breakfast is essential, and additional snacks throughout the day may help.

Don’t let children go on the computer,  or watch television for longer,   than forty five minutes without a break.  Limit sessions to a maximum of two hours a day.

Try ensure, that,  your child gets at least thirty minutes of outdoor exercise a day.

Mouth Cancer

Cancer of the mouth, throat and larynx has been difficult to treat.  A kind of drug, which is a of chemotherapy treatment,   can now be used to kill cancer cells in the mouth.  The disease is one of the deadliest, so this is good news.  The most common cause is smoking and drinking.  Warning signs, include, ulcers that don’t heal in three weeks, red and white patches in the mouth or unusual lumps in the mouth or on the neck.
