I recently met some friends tell me: "Hey, do not tell people a workout jumping rope burns belly fat.

I recently met some friends tell me: “Hey, do not tell people a workout jumping rope burns belly fat. It is what it is, and there is no routine d exercise that will burn belly fat just. “

And what I say: “You’re right!” There is no magic bullet that will melt belly fat by Thanksgiving. However, I can tell you that if you have a body lean enough and you try just lose those last few pounds – it’s just, oh by the way, have accumulated around your mid section – a workout jump rope may be exactly what you need.

There are some workouts that when done correctly, burn more calories – minute to minute, a routine jump rope. A workout of high intensity, including interval training, for just only 15 minutes can burn more calories than 30 minutes at a brisk walk on a tread mill or stepper stair . Jumping rope can burn more calories than most jogging and is matched only by athletes who work wind sprints on the track.

Other benefits of a workout jump rope:

You get a full body workout. Yes, the targets are the muscles of the legs and glutes, abdominals, but participation to keep the body stable during jumps back was hired as are the shoulders, wrists and arms – both upper and lower arm . With this drive is simple: the whole body goes into action.
In addition, your body is building endurance. This kind of workout cardio is ideal for building endurance. If you can not jump rope for 15 minutes straight, you’re on the way to build cardiovascular capacity.
Skipping improves hand-eye coordination. It takes more practice to become good at jumping so you do not always “Miss”, but once you’ve learned to this point, the jump has your overall coordination to a new level. Thats why so many boxers jumping rope – to improve their hand-eye coordination and speed.
For women, jumping rope is a great additive to preserve bone mass. Women over 30 begin to lose calcium in the bones as they age, and weight bearing exercises (like jumping) to help build and maintain strong bones.
The jump is easier on the knees than running and can be done anytime anywhere.
So is it true that a workout jump rope will not burn belly fat? Maybe – you be the judge.
