A Simple and Easy Way to Lose Weight

This is my plan to lose weight. It is easy and so far has been very effective.

A few months ago, I stepped on the scale and was alarmed that I weighed 210 ponds. My goal was to lose enough weight to get down to 175 pounds. I start off the morning with a breakfast bar. They come in many flavors such as Strawberry, Blueberry and Cherry as well as many others. For lunch I have a tuna sandwich, simply because I love tuna. I use Albacore, which is the lowest sodium tuna for those concerned about sodium content. Of course, if you don’t like tuna, I am sure you can find a suitable replacement. I am able to do thid because I am disabled with PTDS and am a house-husband. I began a regiman of working out for an hour in the afternoon. My basic workout consists of light stretching, a few jumping jacks and any other sort of exercise I feel I can do without straining myself. It was then I read an article that housework can make you lose more calories than working out.

Since my wife works, I have always done the housework, but I decided to do a little more, such as sweeping, dustiing, doing the dishes and so forth. I still continue my workouts and walk my dog several times a day. I also decided to walk without her at times, because she likes to stop and sniff so much, it slowed down my pace. For supper, I have a large salad, usually consisting of lettuce, chopped chicken or salad shrimp, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, onion and dressing. Of course, there are so many ways to make a salad, you can choose to use whatever you prefer that suits your taste. Once a week, I treat myself to a small pizza, since I love pizza so much.

The first week I started this regimen, I lost five pounds. The second week, I lost another five pounds. I have lost five pounds every week since then and am now down to 185 pounds. This is so simple and easy, I have told several freinds and they have also lost weight using this diet. If you want to lose weight, why not give it a try? It can’t hurt and losing weight also lowers high blood pressure and is great for your cholesteral. So if you give it a try, let me know if it works for you. Good luck.
