Changing your diet is just one of the ways to lose excess fat.

Many ads will tell you that you can lose fat fast, or quickly within just a few days. One of the things that is not mentioned is that you mostly lose water the first week you are on your diet.

Fitness experts recommend that along with changing your eating habits that you also have a consistent workout routine that allows for cardio and stretching.

Mothers who have recently gave birth to children have a big challenge ahead of them to lose belly fat. One of the main reasons is because the skin has stretched out and will take time to firm back up again.

So no matter how many crunches or sit-ups you try to do it will not get rid of your love handles unless you have the right amount of cardio and weight resistance exercises to combine with a low fat high protien diet.

Just remember to not have an unrealistic expectation on how fast this can happen, just as it took time even months or years to gain the excesss weight it will also take time to lose the weight.

It is hard work to lose a couple of dress sizes but if you are committed to following through on a fat burning routine you will be happy you did.

Summer months puts lots of pressure on woman to look their best in a micro mini or a two piece bikini.

For those who still have a few pounds to lose there are bathing suits that come in a style that can flatter the hips and thighs while at the beach.

Just remember to drink plenty of water and to avoid salty foods because you will retain too much water.

Instead eat plenty of fruits and green leafy vegetables to speed up your metabolism and give you more energy while you are trying to lose more weight.

Starvation tactics are the worst thing to do because your body will take away muscle instead of fat, you want to have a toned and firm body and this is only possible if you are eating several nutritious small meals a day.
