Can I Eat Healthy Fast Food?

How you can lose weight on daily fast food.

So you wanna lose that gut that keeps on building up but you cannot let go of those double cheeseburgers, milkshakes, and large fries.  If I told you that everything is possible to eat I would be lying, so let me tell you that with the right determination you can achieve nearly any goal you set for yourself.  From personal experience and a lot of reading I have found out that one of the keys to success in losing weight is eating right.  Now depending on what you want to do in the gym, eating right can be interpreted many different ways.  In this article I will talk about how to eat fast food and lose weight to cut pounds.

These days fast food restaurants have made it easier for those who have internet access to check out nutritional information on their products.  What I have learned about these facts they serve is that there are more things to analyze than just carbs, and calories.  Even though there is a focus on some categories that are commercially appealing, the truth is you also have to watch the type of fat, and amount of sodium you take in with every fast food meal.  The things I look for when i eat out are carbs, calories, fat grams, sodium, and protein.  

Now when it comes to the amount you eat to help yourself feel satisfied, the biggest problem we have in the US is that our meal portions are gigantic compared to other places in the world.  If your like me you know that when ordering a healthier meal at a sit down restaurant, the meal that comes looks more like leftovers from another persons plate.  The truth is cutting down your portions can help a person lose weight, so eating less but finding foods that contain ingredients that are filling is very helpful. One problem about healthy food is its boring to eat.  Fruits, veggies, and whole grain-wheat foods just don’t have the kick people are usually looking for.  There are many places where you can enjoy the normal foods that are offered but just at lower amounts.

A place that has been targeted many times for unhealthy food is McDonalds, but they are also one of the best places to find healthy options.  Salads, chicken wraps, and regular hamburgers not doubled with cheese are the best way to go at many of these places.  When you do a salad or chicken wrap, get them without the dressing or low fat dressing and get grilled chicken.  There will be instances where you can get breaded chicken also but the key component to cut out is the ranch dressing, along with other things added that could make a healthy meal a non healthy meal.  On hamburgers go for small burgers, like a Sonic jr burger or BK Whopper Jr without mayo.  If you get a grilled chicken sandwich go without mayo, and if you want onion rings from burger king go small.  Something else that is beneficial is if you are starting out trying to eat healthy is to do it slowly.  Usually people who immediately start to eat healthy burnout quicker than those who gradually get into the habit. 

From personal experience on losing 20 pounds in 2 months I can safely say this method has worked for me and hopefully it can work for you.  Not everyone has a similar eating style or body type so using this strategy and tweaking it could get you better results.  Also allow yourself when you have created this as a routine to use one day to eat anything you want.  Like stated previously don’t deprive yourself from eating good food, or fast food and try to learn about what your putting in your body.  Results might not show immediately for a lot of people, but I can guarantee that if you stick with it you will feel a lot better about yourself if your eating habits are keeping you down.
