Chewing Gum for Losing Weight

Aside from the fun there is something else in chewing gum…..

Thinking about chewing gum to some of us might give us different ideas:

  • Looks terrible in a person who don´t know how to chew it discreetly 
  • It´s not good for your teeth.
  • It´s forbidden in school.
  • And many more you should be thinking right now.

But now, studies indicate that chewing gum can have benefits to our health like:

  • Keep a fresh breath.
  • Reduce stress symptoms.
  • Improve memory.
  • Help you to stay alert.
  • Improve digestion.
  • Take away sleepiness.
  • Control your weight.

If we think about controlling our weight, we can see chewing gum like a snack with only 5 to 10 calories per serving (sugar less chewing gum). Chewing gum will help you to lose weight because you are already eating something with less calories than a regular snack avoiding the consumption of unnecessary calories out of food hours. Chewing gum also calms the anxiety about the need for food. And the final fact, chewing gum can burn about 11 calories per hour.

Remember: chewing gum don´t replace principal foods, you have to eat healthy too.

Each person is different and unique, so there might be a lot of different responses in each one.

  25. It makes sense. Some companies ride on this fact and add fat burning ingredients to chewing gum. There used to be this fad with hoodia, a cactus with the extract added to gum. It became hit and I even I sold it online through my weight loss blog (http://weightloss-is-your-gain.blogspot.com) but the fad didn’t last. Articles like this are really useful for the simplicity of the idea.
