Responsibility is a big word as well as determination when it comes to diet and exercise. One needs to take the time for exercise and make it a daily priority almost like a pill prescribed by a doctor daily. Dieting is the same way. In order for exercise to benefit the body–calorie intact needs to be cut down. Smaller more frequent meals are better, and avoiding snacks and foods high in fat before bed is a must. If you are a diabetic though, then you do need a small snack before bed.

I am not going to get into the diabetic diet…but I do want to stress the need for compliance and attitude to be successful added to exercise and dieting. It’s almost like they are two dirty words because now one has to be responsible everyday for them.

Change is good and good nutrition promotes change with added exercise too. Keeping a diary of accounts regarding the daily intake and exercise of the day— will help keep things truthful and on track. Consulting with your physician is important and necessary—especially if there are any health problems lurking. Remember this—structure of the day keeps fat out of the way.
