Discover the Number One Secret to Achieving Safe, Healthy and Permanent Weight Loss

If you have tried to lose weight in the past and failed or if you are trying to lose weight for the first time, then I am about to reveal the secret of success.

This is the most important information you will ever learn regarding weight loss. Unless you embrace completely what you are about to read then you will probably fail to lose weight again.

Most people will tell you that they can?t lose weight because they don?t have the willpower, they are the wrong body type, they have the wrong genes etc. All perfectly reasonable excuses. But all absolute garbage! Anyone can lose weight, provided they take the right steps.

What do all these people, who have failed, have in common? Their desire simply wasn?t strong enough. ?I did have a strong desire to succeed but I still didn?t get there?, I hear you say. Sorry, but if you didn?t succeed, then your desire wasn?t strong enough. Plain and simple.

Our number one priority is to get our brains on our side. We must get our minds right before we can have any chance of succeeding.

WHY WE MUST SET GOALS?

All truly successful people have a huge desire to succeed. They know clearly in their own minds what they want. We must learn from them before we can hope to be successful ourselves. So what do these people do that we don?t?

These people, without exception, are goal oriented. In other words, they have set themselves a series of goals and their lives are focused around achieving them. Have you set yourself any goals?

You probably have said to yourself, ?I?d love to be slim and I?ll do anything to succeed.? Or ?I want to start jogging to get fit and lose some weight,? or something similar. These are all very worthy intentions, but that is all they are, intentions. We all know about the road to hell being paved with good intentions. We become too easily distracted when all we have is good intentions.

So, what must we do to change our intentions into reality? What must we do to create that burning desire? We MUST write our goals down. We MUST commit them to paper.

WHY WE MUST WRITE OUR GOALS DOWN?

Do you know why it is so important to write things down? When we put pen to paper we turn our thoughts into something tangible. We can see it, touch it and smell it if we want. Our goal is no longer a thought. It becomes something which motivates us and creates a gut feeling inside us. Even the act of writing it down makes a much stronger impression on our subconscious. So when we read, re-read and read again our goals, the impression on our mind becomes deeper and deeper and influences our subconscious more profoundly and this is where our desire, our willpower starts to flourish.

Bear in mind that our subconscious is a very powerful ally. It can be your best friend. The more positive the instructions we give it, the more positive the result. The more we feed it in the right way, the more it will help us along the way. There is something almost magical about writing things down which makes achieving them an almost certainty. So write your goals down.

When we are setting out our goals the first thing to do is set ourselves a deadline. We must set a date when we intend to accomplish our goal by. Be specific. Don?t use ?as soon as possible? or ?by the end of next month. Write down, ?1p.m. on the 25th June 2007. By setting a deadline, we create a sense of urgency and this will prevent us from putting things off.

Next we write down the goal itself. There are four things to make sure of when writing our goal.

Write it in as much detail as possible. The more detailed the instructions are to the subconscious, the clearer the outcome will be. Don?t write, ?I want to lose 28lbs.? Write, ?I want to lose 28lbs. I want 15% body fat. I want firm, toned arms, a flat belly, shapely legs, glowing, healthy skin,? etc. Make it as detailed as possible. Close your eyes and visualize your new body. If you can see it clearly, so can your subconscious mind and so your motivation will be huge.

Write down what you want, not what you don?t want. Don?t write, ?I don?t want a beer gut anymore.? Be positive. Write ?I want a six pack with strong ripped muscle.? We are giving our subconscious a set of instructions to carry out. It cannot differentiate between good and bad. It can only act on what we tell it. So, be positive at all times.

Write your goals in the present tense. Don?t write, ?I will lose 28lbs.? Write, ?I am losing 28lbs.? The subconscious mind will do nothing about something which might happen in the future.

Re-write your goals as often as you can. When words are written and then repeatedly written, they have maximum impact. Don?t be content with the first draft. Refine it, add motivating words, make it more real.

Writing our goals down is the first step to making our dreams a reality.

?Putting it in writing breathes life into it, making it a force which cannot be stopped easily.?

HOW DO WE ENSURE WE REACH OUR GOALS?

Once the goal is written, we must plan the route towards our goal. We must start by breaking our main goal into mini goals. Most people fail because they don?t do this. They don?t break their goal into smaller parts. All they can see is an almost overwhelming big goal and don?t know where to start. We must do this because,

  • Mini goals help us chart our progress more efficiently.
  • Mini goals are not so overwhelming.
  • Mini goals are much easier to accomplish.
  • Mini goals let us see and feel progress.

Every goal can be broken down into mini goals. Mini goals should never be too difficult to achieve or take too long to do. When losing weight our mini goal might be, ?I am losing 1lb per week.? There are too many possible mini goals for me to list but a few examples might be, ?I am bringing my resting pulse down to 72 beats per minute,? or ?I am dropping two dress sizes,? or ?I am finding low fat or low sugar alternatives to my favorite foods.? Remember keep everything in the present tense.

Once the mini goals are written, we must break every mini goal into small easy to accomplish tasks. Ideally, we should use a diary to keep track of our tasks. For the first mini goal above, there will be several tasks we need to complete every day. Our week should be broken up into daily tasks that we need to do.

Make it as detailed as you can. Change it as often as you like. Make sure you tailor it to fit around everything else that you do. But you must make time to follow your plan.

Make sure you tick off each task as you accomplish it. Ticking off each task will give you a great sense of achievement. It will encourage us. It will make us more positive. It will make us more confident.

Additionally, if you follow your plan carefully, if you complete each individual task, you will not have to think about losing weight. It will happen anyway. Provided you have planned your meals within your calorie allowance and provided your exercise program is burning enough calories, you will succeed.

Psychologists are now suggesting that if we can repeat a task for 21 straight days, then it becomes a habit. If we can, at least, reach this stage, then we have made a great start towards achieving our goals.

By focusing our minds on the easy tasks and completing them, we will make huge strides towards our main goal without feeling overwhelmed.

GET THIS PART RIGHT AND I GUARANTEE YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT.
