Eating Meat Can Be a Weighty Issue
Eating meat can increase the amount of fat in the body.
We know that it’s already hard to stay away from sweets and chocolates and now asking you to stay away from meat as well is too much. But yet sugars are not the only culprit in damaging your health. Consumers of meat should also be very careful. We learn from health magazines that we have to cut down on fat and carbohydrate and improve on protein which we get from a variety of food including meat but it has been proved that protein and carbohydrates have the same amount of calories per gram. However meat is very high in fat and nearly half of this fat is saturated.

If you are very concerned about your health and your diet but you are still putting on weight, your blood pressure is high and from time to time you are dizzy. Maybe you have salad and vegetable everyday, drink plenty of water and avoid sugars but you are adding bacon and ham for breakfast, steak for lunch and some more meat for dinner and hardly exercise then it’s time to do an evaluation of the amount of meat intake in your daily diet. Excess of meat in the body open doors to different diseases such as cholesterol, cardio vascular disease, stroke and gout.

In addition to that, animal protein also lead to kidney impairment, osteeoporosis and sometimes cancer. Red lean meat even though does not contain fat is very bad for blood pressure. Too much of it raise the blood pressure resulting in a stroke often.
If you cannot do your own evaluation you might consult a nutritionist and give an account of what you eat and how much meat is inluded in your food daily. Based on your age, size and height, he/she will give you the accurate guide for your diet and make sure that you stick to it.
You might lay more emphasis on other meat replacement food such as beans, nuts and fruit. You can add those to your diet and cut down (not completely though) on meat.
Beans and nuts contain the essantial fibre and essential oil for the skin and low in cholesterol. It lower the risk of heart disease and improve digestion.

So if you are planning your summer holiday and want to improve your health then it’s the moment to take action. Clean up your diet and start doing some exercises. You don’t need to look healthy like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie but you will healthier, happier and more confident.
