Five Weight Loss Tips You Wouldn’t Think of
Some small helpful tips for losing weight in a healthy way.
Here are some small helpful tips for losing weight in a healthy way, maybe you never thought of them and all of these might not work for everyone.
1) Massage.
Massage therapy is a medical treatment, if you find a Registered Massage Therapist. RMTs can do specific abdominal/colon treatment to help with constipation and help move the contents of the colon through your system.
2) Sell your Car.
Here’s a funny one. If you don’t have a commute or specific places you need a car for, selling your vehicle will literally force you to walk or bike places. It’s drastic but it works.
3) Be Forgetful.
Like we need to try…but seriously when I’m at school, I purposefully forget things in my locker or the fridge so I run up and down the stairs to get them. I do this about 5 times more than if I brought them all at once, and it gives me a workout. Leaving your lunch at home works too; if you live close enough you can walk to eat, and don’t bring food at all or you might be enticed to stay at work.
4) Work at Work.
Now exercise is boring and time consuming, unless you’re smart about it. When I am at school listening to a 3 hour lecture I get the urge to fall asleep, but I figured out how to stop being tired and get a work out. I bring a very light weight to class, while listening intently I can lift weights. Make sure it’s light so you’re not straining and grunting. I’ve gained a small but significant amount of muscle mass just during my class time, it works!
5) Don’t stop eating.
I know what you’re thinking, “I am trying not to eat as much!” If you eat consistently throughout the day and only eat healthy things, you will eat less and crave less bad things. Have a small breakfast, an hour later have a half an apple, an hour later finish your apple, an hour later have a piece of bread with peanut butter, an hour after that have some veggies. Trust me you’ll never crave chips, or be over hungry, which can lead to bad snacking, snack good!
