Foods That Burn Fat

It will be getting warmer soon so now is a good time to watch what we eat. Here are some foods that will help you burn fat.

As I mentioned earlier, it will be getting warmer soon so now is the time to watch what we eat.  Our heavy clothes will be coming off soon so we won’t be able to cover up for very long.  Fortunately, I have some tips on some foods we can eat to burn fat.  You may already have some of these foods in your home.  If not, they are not hard to get.

These fat burning foods possess special properties that add zip to your system and help your body melt away unhealthy pounds.  They can suppress your appetite for junk food and keep your body running smoothly with clean fuel and efficient energy.  They can be included in any sensible weight-loss plan.

Here is the list of fat-burning foods:

Apples
Apples elevate your sugar levels in a safe, gentle manner and keep them up longer than most foods.  Apples leave you feeling satisfied longer.  The fiber in the apples also prevents hunger pangs.  I like eating apples.  I prefer to cut the apple in half because it tricks me into thinking I’m eating more than I am.

Asparagus
Asparagus has a natural diuretic or fluid-flushing effect. Since diuretics help you get rid of bloating, this would be good to eat.  A chemical in asparagus called asparagines stimulates healthy circulation and kidney function. Asparagines promote the breakdown of fat cells.   I don’t eat asparagus, but for those of you who do, it has health benefits.  Since it does all of this for you, maybe I should consider eating it.

Beets
Beets are also a strong diuretic.  Beets work on the liver and kidneys and captures fats floating in the blood stream.  My mother used to make me eat these when I was younger.  I guess I should be thankful now since I know what the health benefits are for beets.

Bread – whole grain
Bread is actually healthy for you.  The things you put on bread is what makes it fattening.  Bread is a natural source of fiber and complex carbohydrates.  Some breads can actually reduce the appetite.  Eating darker breads such as pumpernickel, whole wheat, mixed grain, etc. can make you feel less hungry, which will help you lose weight.  This is good to know because I eat bread all of the time.

Cabbage
Cabbage is a super fat-flushing food because it contains high amounts of natural sulphur and iodine, which cleans the mucous membrane in the digestive tract.  When this membrane is swollen with impurities, it leads to bloating and pot bellies.  Cabbage helps counteract that. It may sound gross when you think about it, but it’s a good thing.  I’m glad that I don’t eat cabbage for nothing.

Celery
Celery can reduce high blood pressure and fat deposits because it’s rich in calcium, magnesium, and iron.  These things combat illness, flush fat and discharge water retention.  I didn’t always like celery, but I eat it more now that I know the benefits of celery.

Cucumbers
Cucumbers are loaded with sulphur and silicon content, which stimulates the kidneys to eliminate bodily waste, such as ulric acid.  Cucumbers help draw stored fat out of cells for elimination along with other waste.  I try to eat cucumbers with my salads all of the time.  I like cucumbers so I don’t mind eating them.

These are all for now.  We could al use extra help with burning fat.  I wanted to let you all know what foods are good for burning fat.  I will let you know about more fat burning foods in another article.
