Health hazards of obesity

Obese people must have to take precaution to avoid disorder.

An obese person is not very energetic. Obese people tend to have high cholesterol (fatty substances) in their blood. Cholesterol gets deposited in the arteries. These arteries become narrow and obstruct the flow of blood. This leads to cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension (high blood pressure), arteriosclerosis (blockade of arteries) and coronary attack (heart attack). Obese people are liable to suffer from diabetes. Persons suffering from diabetes are not able to convert glucose to glycogen and as a result, glucose level in the blood increases. This could result in many diseases and can even cause unconsciousness.

Therefore, overweight people are advised to avoid taking food-having excess of starch such as potato, sugar, wheat, butter and ghee. The deposition of fats around the diaphragm causes respiratory problems and breathing becomes difficult. The excessive deposition of fats may also lead to skin diseases.
