How I Got my Body Back
Pregnancy can be brutal to a woman’s body. You can get your pre baby body back, and I will show you how.
Weight was never an issue for me until I had children. Or was it because I hit the big 3-0? I waited until thirty to have my first child. Everything went fine after the birth. I was nursing, and had a lot of nervous energy. We did everything together. My child went into a stroller or backpack, and we hiked, explored, and never stopped moving. It was a breeze getting the extra childrearing pounds off. Then, out came baby number two. Boy, my hands were full! Loosing the weight from my pregnancy was the last thing on my mind. It took me awhile to get in to the groove of being a mom of two children. But finally it was time to get those extra pounds off. I gained more weight with the second pregnancy, was older, also had an infant and toddler to contend with. This was not going to be easy. Nursing helped me loose a little of the weight. But I was still chunky.
Tired of being fat, and determined to loose those excess pounds, I vowed to do anything and everything possible. I tried every diet imaginable. But, they just didn’t work for me. My body doesn’t function well from lack of nourishment. I get really grumpy if I don’t have sufficient nutrition in my belly. Out of frustration and ravishment, I began to look for other options. I read books, magazines, and searched the internet. After much research, I decided to just eat “healthier”, and exercise daily. Well guess what…it’s working! Having lost two dress sizes, and feeling healthy, energetic, and confident in my new body.
The first thing I did was figure out my worst eating habits were and change them. Soda pop was my biggest downfall. Now icy cold water is the drink of my choice. Or I have club soda with lemons and lime, make Latte with fat free milk, and there’s always diet soda or tea. Fresh squeezed juice is also delicious, and healthy. Also, plan out your day. If you do this you will THINK about what you put in your mouth, and not overeat because you are starved. Eat several mini meals, you won’t get hungry and overeat or fill up on junk. Think of it as eating a lot of little snacks. Eat like a cow. Graze on a little something all day long. MOOOO.
