How to Improve Eyesight Naturally

Some true and tried methods of improving eyesight.

If you wear glasses and your eyesight keeps worsening and your optician has told you that there is no other remedy for your eyesight beside surgery, don’t despair yet. You can improve your eyesight besides what the optician says and that too with simple things that are easy to get. So let us start on the mission to improve your eyesight.

Be Less Dependent on Your Glasses

That’s right! If you use your glasses all the time, your eye muscles become lazy and do not even attempt to see correctly. So, just remove your glasses for some time everyday and blink a bit and try to see properly without glasses.

Use Eye Exercises

Sometimes your eyes get very strained by working all the time, especially when you are working on the computer. Some eye exercises can help relieve the strain and prevent your eyesight from decreasing further. Following are some useful eye exercises. Do all these after taking off your glasses.

Blink a Lot

When you blink as an exercise, your eyes get relaxed and they are moistened which prevent them from getting dry. So keep up this blinking exercise often and see your vision improve.

Roll your eyes

You must be thinking that maybe I am joking but it’s true, rolling your eyes can help them to relax. First, roll your eyes in clockwise direction and then in anticlockwise direction. Repeat this about six to twelve times. After doing this, roll your eyes in full circle (three-sixty degrees) in clockwise direction for about six times and then in anticlockwise direction six times as well. Now just feel how relaxed your eyes are.

Move your eyes sideways

First move your eyes from right to left and then left to right. Do this about six to twelve times. This is also a good exercise for the eye muscles.

Focus near and far

This is a great exercise for your eyes. First focus on an object which is near your eyes, for example, put your index finger in front of your eyes but far enough to be seen distinctly. Then choose a spot or object which is far from you but which can be seen from where you are sitting, like the wall in front of your table or the door to your room. Please make sure that your finger and the distant object can be seen in line with each other, that is, you don’t have to turn your head or your eyes to see one object and then the other. First, focus on the thing which is near you like the finger and then focus on the thing which is far from you like the door. Do this about ten times.
