If your are enjoying good, healthy power foods like almonds, bell peppers, blueberries, broccoli, grapes, olive oil, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes and whole grains you are going to have a diet that you can stay with.

Some practical advice would be to use your nutritional common sense, eat more of the fruits and vegetables and limit the amount of processed foods you are eating. Cutting back on your portion sizes is a good adjustment to make as well.

A diets success is due to some basic things, eating good fats, eating nutrients and proteins, and getting exercise. This is a very simple and flexible plan. If you are a nutritious eater, the calorie intake is pretty much going to take care of itself.

One healthy diet that many are finding success with is the Atkins diet. Foods included in this diet are certain fruits and vegetables; whole grains such as oats, barley, and bran; some pasta; chick peas; plain yogurt; and skim milk. Others decide that they would prefer the organic way of life. They do their best to find pesticide-free fruits and vegetables; whole grains; free-range eggs, chicken and beef; hormone-free milk.
