- Motivation is the key to weight loss. Do not let motivation go. - Record everything. Record your weight initially and each week along with the approximate amount of calories that your consume everyday.
- Try eating slowly rather than fast. Those who eat fast tend to eat much more than their requirement and hunger. Similarly those who eat slowly can feel their appetite going very quickly without consuming a lot.
- Drink hot water. Hot water greatly helps to digest what you eat quickly. Moreover taking hot water time to time instead of tea or coffee might be a very healthy idea because you don’t have to add sugar in it.
- Eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits which have lower calories as compared to meat, chicken etc. Also, use unrefined flour.
- Have light dinner: Try to eat less than your hunger and also take food which has lesser calories e.g. vegetables instead of meat.
- Avoid sugar. Some people tend to add sugar to almost everything, e.g. milk. That could be one of the main reasons for the excess weight. Try to minimize sugar use. An important thing to remember is that diet drinks might also contain huge amounts of sugar in order to compensate for the taste loss due to lower calories. Many people don’t know that.
- Exercise is another every important factor leading to weight loss. It is a good way to burn your calories. You can do exercises like running, cycling, swimming as well as weight training. Both aerobic and anaerobic exercises are useful in losing weight quickly.
- Do not get influenced and change your mind just because of one of your friends. Do your own research. Go to websites, discuss with several people to get the right information without bias.
- Be patient: Patience is the last but not the least factor which could contribute greatly to weight loss. You cannot lose half of your weight in a month. Even if you do, it will not be healthy. Slow and steady wins the race. So do not give up.
