Lose Weight by Just Getting Out There
Are you serious about loosing weight, or are you half heartily thinking about it?
Lose Weight By Just Getting Out There
Many of us want to lose weight, and we try half heartily; but loosing weight requires true dedication, and step number one is just getting out there and moving. This is where we need to begin, if it means getting up, getting dressed and without thinking too much, get OUTSIDE!
Start out with a slow warm-up walking routine for about five minutes, over the next twenty minutes slowly increase your pace, almost to a slow jog, now keep that pace for five minutes and then slowly slow down. This is a very simple thirty-minute routine that can and will get your heart pumping and keeping your metabolism burning calories for a few hours. If it means coming home from work, change and get OUT! This simple routine will get you moving and over time you will be able to work it up to a jog much sooner and keep it at that point for longer. This is a low impact cardio work out, which is good for helping you burn calories, as well getting the blood pumping through the heart and your body.

Now just because your up and out, does not mean it gives you a pass to eat more; if your trying to lose weight, add more fruits, vegetable and water to your daily meals. Eating healthy is another important key to loosing weight and keeping it off; 3 large meals loaded with carbohydrates and fat is not a way to loose weight. Serious weight looser stick to small meals, about five daily, and they consider the foods they eat and try to stay away from unconscious nibbling. They stay focus on their total intake daily, they know if they eat chocolate bars, potato chips and go back for seconds after dinner; they are not going to loose the weight.

SO now your out, walking, doing a light jog; and changed your eating habits, your should be feeling great! Now is the time to add a little more of a cardio work out to your routine, perhaps just by warming up for five minutes and then set out for a jog-to a slow run, for twenty minutes, perhaps thirty, and then cool down. Increase the work out by carrying two-pound weights in both hands. As you start to loose a few pounds you may find yourself becoming motivated to add other activities to your schedule, perhaps you can go running three times a week, and slowly add weight lifting and muscle toning to your routine, such as arm curls, leg lifts and sit up to names a few.
Now don’t go out there and burn yourself out, as you see from this article, it is a slow going, routine where pacing yourself is what it is all about. Exercise and good eating can add years to your life, help you lose weight, and help you avoid many different ailments that affect us as we get up there in age. There has been a positive effect for diabetics, those with high blood pressure or heart disease, while weight lifting has been notably a positive move in the right direction to help us avoid osteoporosis.
Again, go slowly it does you no good to get all hyped up, where you going running and exercising; only to get burned out, because you pulled a hamstring and need to rest, I say this because this is the normal scenario for those who are half heartily thinking about loosing weight.
This is not the way it should feel!

Great article! I could not agree with you more. People tend to think staying in decent shape is much more taxing than it is, therefore they avoid it.

I wish I had the determination to do a boot camp workout, I am slowly getting back into exercising, and so I started with walking, so I will increase it to a slow run…. then eventually begin to weight train. It all takes a bit of time, especially since I don’t want to over do it, and then have to rest because I pulled a hamstring or something.
BTW
I truly love your articles

I have found ballroom dancing keeps the weight off myself and my husband plus a low carb diet.
