The most important places you should focus your feng shui efforts when trying to lose weight is your Kitchen and Dining room. Here are some tips which can help one to lose weight.
A Dirty Home is bad Feng Shui as it will have stagnant and negative energy which interferes with health and earnings. A well maintained surrounding foster good health and sense of well-being. First and foremost, clear the clutter in your home and bring in positive energy. Clutter clearing promotes a good circulation of feng shui energy in your environment and is directly related to a good energy circulation in your body and the release of energy blockages. Throw away all processed stuff and unhealthy snacks. Junk food you put into your body is clutter too and thereby should keep away from eating, making or storing such food. When you don’t have access to such foods you can’t eat it and spoil your health. Stock healthy food at home and avoid foods that has little or negative chi value. Display bottles of water, fresh fruits and herbs etc which are representations of good health and vitality. Once you finish cleaning up your home do not forget to do a Space Clearing as well.

Enhance the south area of the home with a picture of your face glued with your favorite film actor or actress having the dream body you want to possess and look at the picture as many times as possible. Also place the date of your achievement on your goal which is realistic. It would be a good idea if you can visualize the picture in your minds eye and recall it. This should help you to keep away from the wrong foods. I had a certain friend who kept such a picture in her wallet and also glued it on the refrigerator door and the technique did work.
If you are watching your weight you can use blue table cloth, blue napkin, blue plate or blue mat as this color helps to decrease appetite and health conditions like blood pressure. Eating Dinner in black or dark blue plates is known to subconsciously diminish your appetite. The usage of dark table cloth on the dinner table is also an excellent idea to diminish appetite. As we all know dinner should be the lightest meal you have. Also use bright color plates for lunch and breakfast.
While doing exercises use warm and bright colors as they stimulate activity. Avoid colors like gray and black as they are known to make one lazy and tired.
Food is energy and it is very important what you eat. Junk and Processed Foods are considered unhealthy and a bad choice according to Feng Shui. So try eating more of whole and natural foods. Fruits and Vegetables make good food. Avoid eating foods that has little or negative chi value. Fruits and Vegetables are great choices for food. A bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen counter or table represents vitality and healthy choices. Blue and Green are excellent choices when it comes to the color of foods.
I don’t think these tips are hard to follow. If losing weight is your goal and Feng Shui can assist in weight loss why not give it a try?
