Seven Easy Fitness Rules to Get You Looking Fab on the Beach!

This feature gives you seven easy to follow steps that will have you looking and feeling great in no time at all. All the tips are easy to follow and wil easily fit into a busy lifestyle.

I have designed these so they can easily be slipped into your daily routine without taking up to much time or any expense. The saying is true every little counts. In this day and age we are more sedentary than ever before and tend to eat on the go. So it’s not surprising that with little time and eating on the go has an effect on our health, energy and let’s face it our waistline.

As I say to many of my clients there is no magic diet or cream that you rub into banish cellulite it’s a simple as, if you consume to many calories and don’t burn them off you store them as fat, which as an ongoing process this will lead weight gain which in turn affects our health .I have put together 7 easy rules that will make all the difference.

 

Rule Number 1.  The Stairs

 

We have heard it a million times before use the stairs instead of the lift, which is right but lets take it up a notch, From now on step two stairs at once and avoid using the hand rail. The reason being is you will be working more muscles at a harder intensity ,which in turn will burn more calories, alongside that this deep movement is fantastic for toning the bottom so remember two at a time is a must.

 

 

Rule Number 2.  Have a Ball

 

Invest in a gym ball, most sports shop and even supermarkets now sell them, aim to use this everyday and even sit on it instead of curled up on the sofa as when you are perched on the ball you engage all your deepest abdominal muscles so you can get toning your tummy while sat at your desk or watching TV.

 

Rule Number 3. Sip up

 

Not only will drinking your two litres of water a day , give you glowing skin, sparkling eyes, loads of energy it will also help reduce food cravings as it suppress the appetite. So make it your rule and sip away so come your holidays you will glowing from head to toe.

 

Rule Number 4. I Must , I Must

 

Time to be strict here, if you want to look fab in your bikini you need to get your trainers on and get jogging or power walking for 20 minutes 3 times a week, this is how we shift those annoying little fat cells also known as Cellulite. I promise you if you do this within 3 weeks you will notice a really difference, So be strict and have your trainers by the front down also your bikini , to remind you if I don’t train you wont feel as confident feel in your bikini.

 

Rule 5.  Downsize your plate.

 

This is a simple one, nowadays we all eat far to much so cut down your portion sizes , for a balanced meal you only need a handful of carbohydrates , for example pasta, rice or potatoes and a small portion of your protein ,like fish or chicken, so simply use a side plate to have your dinner from.

 

Rule 6 The Magic Ingredient

 

Lets face it after a hard day in the office its nice to reward our selves with a well deserved glass of chardonnay, yet this divine drink has plenty of calories so why not make it last longer and turn it to a spritzer therefore still enjoying but saving on the calories and the hangover!!!!

 

Rule 7 Mulit Task

As women we can do mutli tasking to a tee and let’s face it this is one of our many strong points.

Lets combine an exercise with a habit we all have ,  brushing our teeth, so from now on morning and evening simply do this exercise while at the bathroom sink, and not only walk away with sparkly teeth but also super toned thighs and bum.

Stand with your feet slightly wider than hip width distance apart, toes pointing out to the side. Upper body straight and tummy pulled in, simply bend at your knees lowering your self by several inches, hold for a second then push back up aim for 20.
