Top 10 Dieting Myths
Every body wish to look like the thin celeb stars and wish to take a diet yet only very few lose weight and at the same time are healthy. Many who are on dieting have various dieting myths. Take a look at the common dieting myths or dieing mistakes, which include skipping breakfast, losing weight without exercises, eating food too fast, no exercises, etc. Skipping breakfast or any other meal may increase in insulin.
Dieting is on the cards of almost everyone. Many people try to live on vegetable and fruit salads; does this help them lose weight? I think many leave dieting halfway through as it is not possible to live only on vegetable and fruit salads. This doesn’t mean it is not possible to lose weight. If we are able to identify the mistakes we do when dieting, it is clearly possible to shed those extra pounds. Here is a list of top 10 dieting myths and how to avoid them just for you.
Dieting Myth 1 – Skipping Breakfast:

One of the major dieting myths is skipping breakfast. Breakfast means “breaking the fast.” Many people who are on diet skip breakfast; when this is done they feel hungrier and tend to eat more than usual. Breakfast should never be skipped. You can go for foods that are rich in protein and fiber rather skipping breakfast. A healthy breakfast is a must if you wish to lose weight.
Dieting Myth 2 – Eating in large portions:
Image via nutritiouseatingandliving
Majority of the people who are in diet tend to eat large portions of food at one time thinking it will make them feel full and therefore can reduce weight. This is a major dieting myth. When one eats large portions of food regardless of whether they are healthy or unhealthy foods, they will not help you lose weight. One must eat slowly and in small portions if wishing to lose weight. Eating small quantities of healthy foods at an interval of 3-4 hours will help you lose weight.
Dieting Myth 3 – Drinking lots of juices:
Another major dieting myth that many do is cutting down on food items and drinking lots of juices. This is just not fruit juices; this includes soft drinks and alcohol too. When you drink juices and don’t do workouts to burn the calories you got by drinking them, you end up gaining weight rather shedding weight. You can drink water whenever you feel thirsty or before eating your food if you wish to lose weight.

I would say eating moderately can help you to maintain a good physique.
If you skip and keep away from certain food, you would have a craving for them and in the end tend to eat more.

Very informative. I don’t know how some people can skip breakfast. By 5am, my stomach is growling for food every morning. I love the slogan: I love breakfast. Fruit juices, I have to agree with you. Interesting thing about juices is that they are loaded with sugar so it’s not a good idea to drink them if you are trying to lose weight unless it’s Mott’s apple juice.

I have heard it said before.. and will say it again.. if a person needs to drink DIET SODA.. they should not be drinking soda at all

Skipping breakfast will only lead to feelings of hunger and poverty, so that you overeat at the next meal, let alone to eat for too long without actually lower your metabolism. In order to check the heat in while keeping your metabolism, eat small meals several hours apart intervals.

The concepts in this article are good.
However, it’d be better if you ran it through a spell-checker before posting it. (A grammar checker would also help.)
I want to like this article, but I think it’d be better in the original language (with a Google Translator plugin for English-speaking visitors) rather than try to convey the information this way.

Yup, totally true. You have to eat small meals throughout the day to maintain your metabolism rate. If you just eat one big meal mid-day or whatever, your metabolism has already slowed.
It felt counterintuitive for me to do this at first, but I’ve seen and felt the results.

It is astonishing the problems that can be helped by diet and natural remedies. I suffered fibroid pain and was considering surgery. I have been following a natural treatment plan which involved regular meals and breakfast and my fibroids have shrunk. I am almost pain free. There are natural, dietary and holistic treatments for fibroids which can shrink them naturally.
Please see this website: Fibroid pain cures
There is a link on the site to an ebook which is very well researched and gives information on shrinking fibroids naturally. I was sceptical at first but the advice has helped me and I also feel much healthier.

When trying to lose it’s best to eat 3 meals a day. I’t’s what you eat is the most important so eating one huge meal a day is not good. The body likes routine so 3 meals of the correct food is good
Fruit juices dre ok but can contain alot of sugars that create fat.
water with a little honey is far better for weight loss and dieting

Breakfast it is very important because after a night of sleep where we lose water from transpiration we need to restore the body with liquids (mainly water) and eat a healthy meal. First thing to do is drink water. Not orange juice but free and clear water. For Breakfast is good to have wholemeal cereals with skimmed milk or low fat yogurt, or fruit with yogurt.

Thank you for posting this article about weight loss, one of the easiest things I did that helped me lose weight was to start walking. I bought the most comfortable walking shoes and started hitting the pavement.
Thank you for posting this article about proper nutrition, it will be very helpful to me when I start my diet. After years of being sedentary I was told, I needed to get into shape or I could end up have heart issues because my cholesterol was high. I starting reading a blog http://www.walkingshoes.net and it gave me ideas on how to get in a good walking workout.

I wanted to know information regarding beauty as well. I have heard something like sheep placenta which helps in preventing us from aging. Do you have any idea about it and may I know something more regarding long natural health, and especially sheep placenta benefits! Is there any minimum age to consume sheep placenta? I’m afraid my skin might be used to it when I aged and there’s nothing more product to maintain the youthfulness of my skin! Thank you very much! Looking forward to your reply!
